My son is a high school goalie, and has unfortunately been through a few of these. They seem to have to weak spots where the largest sidewall strut connects to the top and bottom rail. Given the speed of shots he has faced, they eventually break through in those areas, but typically hold up for a year and a half. This would be an great stick for the intermediary/youth player, but would not hold up for more than a two years at high school, but I wouldn’t think that would be the expectation for that level of play. Outside of that, it is a joy to string, and I have never had an issue getting a good deep pocket with a decent channel in it. It is tough to find good patterns to use, but I have come up with some what really work well for my son, and really anyone that picks up his stick to play around with.
