    Go with Maveriks instead

    These gloves are indeed light as a feather and attractive. However the amount of protection is lacking in the thumb area which is critical, as well as the wrist, also critical.

    The wrist cuffs are shorter than normal, and leave a lot exposed.

    The floating cuff is in this glove offers little to zero protection.

    BC these gloves fit well and are light I can see a middie using them. But I would suggest a more protective option for an attackman.

    IMHO the Maverik Max is the way to go for the attackman.

    Excellent gloves. Not sure about durability, but they look and feel great.

    My son loves these gloves. He says they feel broken right out of the box. They are as comfortable as other gloves he's been wearing for months.
