    Great head on sale, but...

    The scoop is every bit as pointed as it looks to be online. There''s a reason the 700 was updated to be more ground ball friendly. Not much width to compensate for imperfect catch positioning. All that said, it''s marketed toward a dedicated shooter, and for that purpose, I haven''t taken shots on goal with a head I like better. Long story short: no versatility but great for shooting goals.

    STX Surgeon 10 500

    Not a good face off head but an amazing attack/midi head. It has nice big sidewall holes. Also a very nice scoop for ground balls.

    Great head and excellent price

    Easy to string mid pocket, holds up well over time without warping or pinching, and passes/shoots with accuracy.
