Finally, someone figured out how to avoid slipping arm pads!
These pads are fantastic. Arm pads are my least-favorite of all gear because, unless I find the right ones, they are the gear most likely to get in my way and become a distraction. It's a struggle to find arm pads that are secure enough not to slip, but not so tight that they inhibit free movement of my arm/elbow. The wrap-around bottom strap on these pads seems to be the ideal solution. My hope is that the elastic and soft part of the Velcro fasteners will endure repeated use and time (my biggest issue with lax gear seems to be that elastic stretches/breaks way before the actual padding does). Once I put them on, they stay in place and don't inhibit movement much. I've noticed a BIT of chaffing from the straps rubbing when my elbow is fully bent, but it's minimal (and I'm hoping it goes away with break-in). Overall, great buy -- especially for the discounted price.
