    A significant Step Up

Over a year ago we bought my daughter a beginner's package (some cheap STX bundle with the stick, head, and goggles all sold as a unit). It was good for her to get started with and see if she liked the sport. This is what we settled on as her replacement head since she's decided to keep going. It has a much deeper pocket to it, and the curvature of the head is pronounced. She's still getting used to the differences, but the ball obviously has a lot more zing coming out of her throws, and the angled end makes it so she doesn't need to get as low in order to scoop the ball off the ground.

I'm not sure how it compares to other heads, but for a novice player, it seems like a great fit.
