I was strictly a StringKing 4x guy but have now moved to ECD Hero 3.0. Both are great but I actually prefer the color options available for the Hero 3.0. The mesh is very light weight and fairly easy to break in but also very strong. This mesh does not stretch out as much as some of the others out there so do a good job of pounding it out after stringing to set the pocket and feel confident that you'll have a very consistent pocket. It plays pretty well wet, too.
Very nice product, even though it took me a little longer than expected it came out nice. This is my sons stick and he says he loves it, throws real nice and he can''t wait to use it in real game play.
We''ve purchased all of our lax gear from SportStop for years, and we''ll never go anywhere else. Even with this damn virus, our order arrived in just a couple of days. Our only complaint with this kit is that the custom sidewall strings, top strings, and laces are all cut from reels. The quality is fine, but unlike the full ECD kit, none of these have aglets (for anyone who never watched 'Phineas &. Ferb', aglets are the little plastic tubes at the ends of your shoelaces). Small thing, but makes a big difference when you need to pass strings through the same hole more that once. My son prefers a triangle top string pattern, and to do that, he had to scrap one of the strings that came with the kit and use a spare ECD string that had an aglet. Nit-picky, I know. . . but I''ve been trapped in quarantine for SO long. I''m deathly bored and this is the closest thing I''ve had to a conversation with anyone outside of co-workers and my immediately family in weeks. Keep up the good work, and feel free to call me if you''d like to chat. No, really. . . feel free to call. Please? Anyone? Stay safe and keep up the great work.
