    Good head

Good smooth release, could be a little bit better on hold but overall very good head. A bit pricey.

    My new favorite head

This head strings up wonderfully, and the prestrung pocket it came with its absolutely perfect. As a stringer myself, it felt weird to not change it to what I needed, but the pocket was perfect, and seems totally in line with what the head was designed for. According to Epoch, this head was designed to get the deepest legal pocket possible, and combine that with the very non-elastic Otter mesh and this is a legal combo. The pocket sits right in the middle of the head, super deep, and since the otter mesh doesn''t stretch much you don''t have to worry about it becoming illegal. But with the slope of the sidewall, you can adjust the whip immensely, so there is no need for feeders to worry. Durability wise, this is nicely stiff, but definitely not a heavyhanded dpole head. Its flexible enough to take faceoffs, but tough enough to throw good checks. As a two-way middle, I''m thoroughly impressed.

    Prequel

Best head I''ve ever had, and that''s saying something since I''ve worked in a shop and am a stringer. Beautiful mid-midhigh pocket placement which gives ridiculous hold with an incredibly smooth release. I thought I would never leave the Rabils, but this head is in a league of its own. Stiff, nice aggressive face shape, accurate, smooth, lots of stringing holes to make it versatile, it''s the perfect head (at least for my playing style)
