    Good, but flimsy

I bought this to replace my crux 500 which after 6 years got a crack in it. I am a defender and like the crux range because of the hold and the sweet pot placement. In general, the stick gets the job done as a good stick and the ball moves nicely into the sweet spot. I was skeptical of mesh, coming from traditional stringing, but after playing with it in the rain once, I started to really like it (maybe it needed a good rain to break it in well).

Coming from the older crux version they made the head much lighter, but they traded it in for less sturdiness in my opinion. STX in general doesnt have the firmest heads, but this one did disappoint me a bit as the 500 did me so well. Aditionally the head wobbles a bit, I tried adding a layer of tape on the shaft, only helped a tiny bit so I'll have to add another layer, but I'm just not fully convinced of the head's sturdiness (as a defender), an attacker however probably might not notice this. All in all, I would give it 3,5 stars, I still like the hold, but the flimsiness is a downside for me.
