    a great training tool

I'm not super sure what the screw ball does - seems to just throw like a a regular ball. But... the weighted ball is awesome. a great feel to have a 3x heavier than regular ball to work on cradling and stick work. I also used the weighted ball to work in a pocket - worked great. i really like having this - highly recommend!

    Weighted Lacrosse Ball/Screwball

The weighted ball is fantastic and has helped improve our draw work. The screwball is worthless-can''t tell that it does anything different than a regular lacrosse ball. I wish the weighted balls were sold separately, instead of having to buy a two pack to get one useful ball.

    Great tool.

5 Stars for great service. The weighted ball is a great practice tool. The screwball doesn''t do anything special no matter how you play it...wall, shot, ground. But it does make a cool sound. Get the heavy ball especially for FO work.

    Training balls

The weighted ball is just under 1 pound. As for practicality... Not quite sure. The weighted ball comes affixed with a sticker warning not to use for throwing at anyone, and not to use for warming up goalies. After dropping it on my upstairs floor one time, I can understand why. The thing is solid, not rubbery like a regular ball. Upon placing it into my pocket, it stretched the pocket immediately. Not to the point where it affected my shot, but it definitely could be used effectively to break in new mesh. During a wall ball session, I attempted to throw it against a wall to see how well that works. The ball bounced off the wall, but not far enough, crashing to the hardwood gymnasium floor with a deafening crack. No damage, but it sounded like a bowling ball being thrown in the air by a child at a bowling alley. I think the ball could be used as a cradling/handling training tool, but as far as throwing/passing/catching I wouldn''t recommend it unless you want to damage your head/pocket. As for the screw ball, the ridges don''t seem to be placed far enough apart to cause the ball to bounce irregularly. The ball threw and caught like a normal ball, with the exception of a loud WHOOOOSHING sound the ball made as it traveled through the air. I did notice that the ridges on the ball softened up my new piece of east coast mesh a bit faster than a regular ball. Aside from that, I couldn''t figure out a way to throw this ball and have it perform as you would expect it to. Overall,…
