Excellent lightweight protection

This is my son’s third set of this particular shoulder pad. We have tried others but always come back to the STX Cell IV.

Sizing is not accurate

I purchased a Medium size for my 12 year old son who is 96lbs. The pads were extremely tight and provide almost zero side / back protection.I also purchased a Large set for my 14year old boy who is 5''6' and 114lbs and the exact same scenario was observed. As a result, I gave my 12 year old the Large set and now have to exchange the Medium for a set of extra large for the 14 year old.
