The 10_x14_ LaxStop is free-standing and can easily be positioned for extreme angle shots or even used in the driveway.

The LaxStop is made of 18-gauge steel, powder coated in hunter green with a 3 mm black net. It is different from all other backstops on the market in that it is freestanding and therefore can be re-positioned easily (for practice and grass-cutting). It is also the only green backstop which is very popular with customers who do not like the fact that white and silver goals are so visible on their lawns.

    Great size, easy to set up, but...

    I bought this for my son. I decided the extra cost would pay for itself in balls not lost in the woods or bounced off the neighbors'' houses, cars, etc. In that regard, this backstop is a great help. He can sit in the yard for hours now and not worry about hitting anything he shouldn''t.The one drawback, unfortunately, is the drawback to just about anything mass produced these days.The frame is made of the really thin tubular steel, like the type they make the really low end lacrosse goals out of. It''s about that same diameter and thickness, too. So my fear is the long term durability of this will not be that great.Because the steel is so thin, and there isn''t a lot of paint on it, I expect it''ll rust sooner rather than later, especially if we don''t break it down and store it during the harsh winter months. The backstop net is a cheap nylon material, not your typical lacrosse goal mesh. So far it is working just fine and holds up well, but I am not sure how durable it will be after a season or two of direct sunlight.I wish it was just a little more sturdily constructed for the money. I also hope it''ll last more than 2-3 seasons like the stuff we''ve had in the past of similar quality. Time will tell.Having said all that, its probably the best value option available for backstops at this price point.

    Perfect Solution

    This ''Free Standing Lacrosse Backstop'' has completely eliminated the hassle of having to shag balls and the problem of shooting into neighbors'' yards. This net is used by high school- and college-level lacrosse players and is perfect for stopping shots that are slightly off the goal.

    Read before you purchase

    This back stop is good. CONS: There are a few problems that shouldn''t be happening for the price you pay. The first is the elastic straps that it comes with, Break. They break all the time, due to stress of holding up the heavy netting. Now the biggest problem, the frame. The frame is incredibly bendable, I would suggest not getting this particular back stop if you live somewhere with a lot of wind because mine blows over and the frame get super bent every time. PROS; the netting, yet heavy, hasn''t ripped yet, it''s very strong. The frame is very tall so you don''t have to worry about missing or hitting top bar and bouncing over

    Good overall but pretty expensive for something poorly made from China. Assembly is a pain and some of the pieces were hard to fit together because the metal was bent but overall gets the job done

    Took some time for both my husband and son to assemble but the instructions were straightforward. Not completely confident on the netting. We shall see how it holds up through the year. Don''t want to disassemble and reassemble each time use it.
