MAXIGLIDE LIQUIDS
Why the Maxiglide X-Oils and industrial oils perform best.
The advanced chemistry inherent in these products can be explained as follows:
Starting with the highest quality synthetic oils, which are adjusted for future use by using the appropriate viscosities (CST) are blended with our proprietary blend of PTFE (Teflon), lithium, molybdenum ground down to sub-micron size and then chemically rendered static neutral. The result is a synthetic lubricant base acting as a carrier for additives rated for extremely low co-efficient of frictions in a unique form that allows for superior performance.
To explain further, the lubricating additives without this treatment would only clump together and for all practical purposes be of only limited value in the lubrication environment. But treated as they now are, the additives, because of their sub-micron size and static neutrality, can now circulated freely and find the microscopic imperfections on the surfaces in need of lubrication. They eventually fill these imperfections and become the points of friction.
So now instead of metal on metal or metal on wood or plastic or whatever materials were in contact, for the most part we now have additive on additive. As the PTFE, molybdenum or lithium wears out it is replaced by same. The original metal surfaces are now protected allowing them to perform more smoothly, under less heat, using less energy and with increased longevity.
Older machinery should begin with a more concentrated Maxiglide blend for the first cycle and then advance to our regular blend. Our lubricants generally have a double life span. In other words, if the manufacturer recommends lubricant change after say, 100 hours, we can now use Maxiglide for 200 hours. This obviously results in savings in downtime and labor, not to mention a longer equipment life.
