Almost 30% of all injuries sustained in snowboarding are wrist injuries. A four-year study at the Klinic Gut, Center of Bone and Joint Surgery in St. Moritz, sponsored by Level and the Swiss and German Snowboard Associations, has shown the effectiveness of wrist guards in reducing the risk of wrist injuries in snowboarding. This study showed that using Biomex wrist guards reduced the risk of wrist injury by 7.5 times.
