Try the Defy

by - verified purchaser From ORLANDO, FL
If you have an aspiring player who needs a quality cross without spending a lot, this is perfect.
Pros:
I am a head coach at the high school level and these sticks get high marks for cradling ease, catching, and throwing. Regardless of ability level. Also the head is very durable and I receive few complaints of broken strings. The standard alloy shaft is also a cut above most low priced shafts on the market.
Cons:
Nothing

The Defy is a Great Buy

by - verified purchaser From BATH, MAINE
I almost passed over this stick because it was so cheap, but then I remembered that someone else on my high school varsity team had it and loves it. I bought it and realized that it's only a great deal because it's an older model. It's great for catching and accuracy isn't a problem. In addition ground ball are picked up with ease. Also, I love the shaft because it isn't soft feel.
Pros:
It's a DeBeer, so it's a great stick
Cons:
Nothing
