Designed with years of pocket research.

We have spent more time than anyone creating pockets, and learning what head shapes are best. The Mark 1 builds on all the top features of our favorite heads, and delivers them in a stiff, lightweight, and functional design.

Ultra-stiff Construction - Superior materials and construction prevent the head from flexing when passing and shooting. This improves speed, accuracy and consistency.

Aggressive scoop - An aggressive forward cant and a rounded scoop make groundballs easier to attack from all angles.

Pocket-driven design - The side rails and face shape have smooth curves designed specifically for mid/low to mid/high pockets.

Simple is strong - The simple design of the sidewall creates a lightweight, stiff, and durable head. Functionality drives style.

Strung Option: Type 2S Performance Mesh M1 Pocket

Your pocket has a larger impact on performance than any other piece of equipment. Ultimately, the head is just a frame for supporting your pocket. We created the perfect mid pocket to give players an advantage in every stage of their game.

Co-Engineered for Consistency - For the first time, the head and the mesh have been designed together, resulting in the most consistent pre-strung pocket ever.

Versatility - The M Pocket is perfect for players of all levels and positions. The adjustable bottom string makes it easy to tailor the pocket to your personal style.

Good to Go - With no break-in needed, the M Pocket is ready to go right off the shelf and will perform in all weather conditions.

Weight: 140 grams (unstrung)

Love this head

by From BERWICK, ME
Missing ball stop when arrived. SK sent replacement knowing they had some adhesive issues in earlier heads that they since fixed. Head is a beast. Rugged, clean, easy to string and light. Awesome head at a great price. Love the gray color too.

String King Mark 1 head

by From EASTERN CONNECTICUT
Excellent defensive head, one of the best on the market in my opinion. Well worth the price. It will support any level of play from intermediate to more advanced. Would definitely buy again as long as they don't change it drastically with newer models.
Pros:
Fits very well to the shaft. It is very sturdy and stiff but is not heavy. It has a smooth top scoop and a nice offset for a long pole. I call it a scooping machine! It has a lot of side wall holes, 19, so you can make minor adjustments as needed for throwing Style.
Cons:
Nothing, this is an awesome head! Well done String King.

This is my new favorite head. It has a great face shape, weight, and stiffness. It seems like it would be good for anything except face offs. I play offensive midfield and bought 2 of these for my season. They are both in great shape and haven't warped or anything like that.
Pros:
EVERYTHING, the scoop

Love it! I needed a new lacrosse head when I switched to long pole defense and I love the new head I just got from Sportstop.com.

It works great and I like it!
Pros:
Great in all areas -- good for scooping up ground balls as well.
Cons:
None that I noticed.

String King Mark 1

by From MINNEAPOLIS, MN
This is a great head for any price, let alone cheaper than. Awesome shape, not too narrow, not too wide. Super stiff. With a decent amount of off set, but tilts back forward nicely so the scoop doesn't dig into the ground on GBs. Thick sturdy scoop for GBs at any angle. I would highly recommend this head to any LSM or defenseman with good handles or middies who play hard and need a stiff head. Perfect for a mid or mid high pocket. There are a ton of stringing holes to fully customize the pocket.
Pros:
Price point<br>Shape<br>Scoop<br>Stiffness<br>Light weight
Cons:
Tendency to break on the stringing hole rail near the throat. Still holds up better than most heads, and better than any head at this price point.
