One of the best selling heads of all time just got better!

We've loved the original Proton Power for many, many years. Sometimes we loved to hate it... not everything is perfect.

The new Proton Power features C-Channel technology (as seen in the STX Stallion and STX Hammer heads). C-Channel technology provides extra strength along the bottom rail to aid on ground balls and checks.

  • Strategic use of STX's C-Channel technology provides more strength and stability at the lower section of the head without adding weight
  • STX's scalloped design allows for extra flex when shooting, providing max power and snap
  • STX's island ball-stop reduces weight at throat
  • STX Forward Cant
  • Unstrung Weight: 4.9 oz.

Great

by - verified purchaser From CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
This head is great for middies and attack. it has less of a pinch than the original, and the C-Channel makes it really stiff. You wont be disappointed if you but this head
Pros:
Pinch, Scoop, # of sidewall holes
Cons:
Holes for bottom string are in a weird place because of the island ball stop, but not a big deal
