They are very protective and have good grip once broken in. These are comfortable.
Things to Improve:
You have to break them in.

I broke mine in by washing them two times before using them.
On mine the stitched edge collar that protects the wrist rubbed and cut my arm.

I only had these gloves for a couple games. I spent three months breaking them in, and they still were too stiff for my taste. The grip is really insufficient and basically requires the use of tape, or a really good grip shaft. The cuff doesn't cover much of the wrist at all, so it leaves you vulnerable to slashes. Overall, you can do better for the money. Try Warrior Wraths.
