Brine O2 Oxygen Molded Shinguards

by From TOWSON, MD
Brine O2 shinguards are the most popular in this area for womens lacrosse/field hockey. They offer good protection and are long lasting. You can pull out the padding insert to wash it. A great product for those who wear shinguards.
Pros:
Easy to use velcro straps. Protects from knee to ankle.

Good

by From MADISON, WISCONSIN
Good product. Very functional.
Pros:
Not nearly as hot as you'd think. Nice ventilation.
Cons:
Sometimes it still hurts through the pad. Compression sock is pointless and makes it much hotter.

Brine O2 Oxygen Shinguards

by From ANNAPOLIS, MD
A little bulky compared to soccer shinguards, but better protection by far. My son wears them as a Varsity Lax goalie under sweatpants and loves them. His coaching staff loves them, and his goalie camp coaches recommend them as well. He's taken a lot of shots to the shins before wearing them with some permanent blood vessel damage, so as a parent anything I can do to reduce or stop more permanent damage is worth it.

Well pleased

by From LOGAN UTAH USU
I have never been happier with a shin protector from ankle to just below the knee. Very strong and light weight . Excellent fit.
Pros:
You don't even feel it when moving around. And comes with socks as well.
Cons:
Pretty much got it right.

Lax Shinguards (lrg)

by - verified purchaser From DUBLIN, IRELAND
Overall they look great and offer great protection! Perfect for a lacrosse goalie...
Pros:
These wrap around your shin a little further than typical shinguards, which is great for a little extra protection in goal. The removable padding is great for handwashing. Also, the straps are perfect, as I hate wearing sleeves in practice.
Cons:
The ankle protector portion is a little stiff, and needs to be broken in. Also, because they're molded, and wrap around pretty far, they'd be pretty tight at first on anyone with large calves. I assume they'd break in a bit eventually, though.

5-stars
Pros:
removable padding for easy cleaning & washing. It is comfortable and does not irritate my ankles because of the rubbing of the padding on them.
Cons:
The new feature, the "straps," should be an option. I prefer not having them. I ended up cutting them since I use them with socks. I tried once using the straps, but they were too short and made it very tight.
