These fit my son perfectly. He's 8 and very skinny so i have a hard time finding things that fit him. They help protect the forearm between the glove and elbow gaurd and also help keep the elbow gaurd in place.

Things I Liked:

Elastic ends, light weight, and the materials provide adequate protection while not absorbing a lot of sweat. Tapered shape is great for fitting over elbow guards. Inexpensive.

Things to Improve:

Quality of the elastic ends could be improved as these have proven to be almost disposable after two seasons.

Full Review:

I like them for field as the wide opening of the slash guard can be stretched over the bottom of my elbow guards. They are sized quite large and found this was the best way to wear them as only a youth size was small enough to fit snugly on my wrists (I am 6' 180lbs).
