Great Stringing Kit

by - verified purchaser From LAKE FOREST IL
Great stringing kit! This is my first time stringing a Landing Strip and it took some time to do but it was worth it. I have strung many regular mesh heads but this one is pretty tricky especially with the side strings attaching the mesh with nylon crosslace (its over 5 ft long!). Also a hint, don't cut the nylon crosslace too short before finishing the job, you will need it to adjust the pocket afterward. Also, if thinking of using the Landing Strip, make sure your head has multiple stringing holes. You will need them to string properly. The Landing Strip was strung on my Brine Answer Pro and now the head rips shots with consistency and accuracy. Way better than 8 diamond and 10 diamond mesh I had on it before. Definitely worth the time and effort.
Pros:
Great release and consistent pocket shape. Also, once strung, the pocket looks cool and unique. Multiple options to modify and creat a great pocket versus plain mesh.
Cons:
Instructions should be a little bit more clear. Slightly longer time break in pocket.

Great Pocket

Great kit. For those who like to tweek their stringing, this is a great kit. It difficult to string but its worth it.
Pros:
The Landing Strip kit sets up a great pocket that is consistent. Also, the pocket looks cool and totally different. Shots and passes are faster and more accurate because the ball doesn't get hung up on the sidewalls like with regular mesh.
Cons:
Not recommended for those who never strung their own heads because the sidewall stringing is pretty complex. To make the pocket more solid, had to run another nylon string along the sidewalls. Also, you will need a head that has multiple string holes. The sidewall nylon that comes with the kit should be more firmer. I used Sport Stop's firmer sidewall string instead of Warrior's.
