STX Cell Liners

Things I Liked:

I really liked the overall low profile of these pads, they are lightweight and look fantastic. They really feel like nothing is there but can take a pretty good beating.

Things to Improve:

The sternum protector was in the wrong place, and it was kind of useless. I just took it off. The pads make this weird point at the back where the top and the back meet. It wasn't very good.(But that is the only thing i can complain about other than they are kinda short) They could also be a little longer. I don't feel like i am all the way protected. They end about an inch before the bottom of my ribcage.

Full Review:

I really like these pads, they are sick and look even better. I recommend them to everyone that is looking for low profile but good pads. Although if you tend to get hit in the shoulders these pads aren't for you, they end right before where your sholder. They also won't offer any top of the arm protection. But only wussies use those kinds of pads so grow up and look awesome in these pads.

mazel mazel good things.

Things I Liked:

light weight. don't feel like you have them on.run small, so they are very low profile.well constructed... should last a long time.adjustable straps are good.sternum pad is removable... nice... i removed it.

Things to Improve:

wish the pad over the top of the shoulder was more flexible... other than that... nothing

Full Review:

i'm 6'2", 205. i wear a x-large... they are plenty small (low profile). don't get a large thinking that it will fit a guy over 6', it won't.great pad that reminds me a lot of the way the old toilet pads used to wear, except more protection.

STX Cell Liners - beast

Things I Liked:

Flexible (especially without extra sternum pad), lightweight, mobile, low profile. Good appearance. Looks cool with penny or jersey.

Things to Improve:

These are liners - less protection than normal SP's; but that's what these are made for. Getting slashed is going to hurt anyway. But whatever.

Full Review:

Do what they're made for. Protection is sufficient for someone who can take a little pain. But in my opinion, one of the best shoulder pads out there. Love these - can't go back after using them.

STX Cell Liners

Things I Liked:

Real flexible and light; Really good price; Good comprimise between nothing and clunky pads;

Things to Improve:

Annoying velcro for the sternum pad;

Full Review:

If you're over 175#s and 6 feet tall - def get the XLs - these things run kind of small.

Hood - Florida - 7/14/2011

stx cell liners

Things I Liked:

small, lightweight, straps use clips instead of velcro, removable chest pad, low profile

Things to Improve:

the shoulders stick out of your shoulders a little, optional chest pad is too big and it is uncomfortable, yet without it there is nearly no protection on your chest.

Full Review:

the straps do not remain tight. If you pull on them, even a small amount, they loosen and move around too much.
