Things I Liked:

These are for my 9 year old son. They fit well and are very protective. He did not initially like the very top guard on the shoulders but he has gotten use to it and it looks normal under his jersey.

Things to Improve:

Possibly reduce the size of the top guard on the shoulder.

The sizing runs a little small in my opinion. We outfitted High School players, and while most were in the medium spec. range, they really needed larges.

I like these for the price. I usually play defense, but I sometimes play midfield for fun so I just wanted some cheap lightweight pads. My only real problem is with the shoulder caps. It doesn't really cover my shoulder but more of my collar bone area and I got one larger size than I normally get. I probably would order something else for a little more if you play attack
