When i first started out, i wasn't that quick with my stick so i had to rely on the pads to take the shot as long as i stepped to to the ball. I NEVER GOT HURT i never yelled OW like the other goalie with a more expensive pad, i never tensed up anywhere the pad covers, nothing.

im a beginner goalie and i actually dont like this pad much... it doesnt provide as much protection as u need. i took a shot right to the stomuch and i lost my breath and got a huge welt after the game there.

Full Review:

This pad has a really nice center chest pad, so you won't feel any shots that you catch in the sternum. Unfortunately, you will feel some shots that you take in other areas. That being said, it's very protective, and also flexible which is good. The shoulder pads and groin pad are removable, providing a customizable level of protection/mobility. Overall, not a bad pad.
