K18 II Gloves

Things I Liked:

+Fits my hand well +Good flexibility +d3o padding is very nice +Fair price +Convenient piece of padding in the crotch of the hand (nice while cradling/passing up high) +Flashy and nice black/orange color scheme if that matters to you +Cuff strap thing is handy (but most gloves have them) +No problems with the liner coming loose *coughcoughWARRIORcoughcough* +Kyle Harrison ftw?

Things to Improve:

-Thumb detail/protection -Strips of rubber grip wear after a while -Mesh palm is hard to clean when dirty -Weird grip thing on index finger -I prefer a bit more leather on the palm

Full Review:

Overall, I like (or love) these gloves. I don't think many people take most of their beating to their hands but these would be able to handle the pain, however the thumb protection is totally lame. There is limited flexibility in the thumb because of 2 bulky pads, which for the price is unacceptable (Comparable gloves at least have a split down the middle.). I'm used to some Maveriks with a full leather(ish) palm, but i like the breathability of all this mesh and there is just enough rubbery grip. I'm returning mine only because after 8 months of constant use, the small strips of grip on the fingers started to peel off. They look tight pared up with my matching K18 arm pads. Hope this helps, and if you get the chance, try these gloves!

Connor - Franklin, TN - 11/2/2010

Red Stx K18 II Lacrosse Glove

Things I Liked:

great protection, incredibly flexible and they look awesome!

Things to Improve:

thumb protection, and grip on the index finger.

Full Review:

I decided to cut of the grip going up the index finger and re-sowed it at the base of the knuckle. Once I did this these became some of the best gloves i've ever had on! But honestly the warrior mac daddy 3's are better and cost the same.

jonny - starksboro vt. - 3/14/2012

White 12in - K18 Gloves

Things I Liked:

-tight fit - good protection - vented palms - wrist guard

Things to Improve:

- tight fit - needs venting in the backhand area - more eyelets for drawstring

Full Review:

* very good glove * extremely tight fit is good, but because of this fit, you need the gloves to be broken in as there is no wiggle room (i do not have big hands so i don't see how other guys could fit these) * i don't think there is venting on the backhand...even with the mesh, with the tight fit, the gloves play very hot * they need another eyelet for the drawstring as you have nothing to pull on when putting on the glove and when you pull it tight it feels odd with only two holes bringing the wrist portion together * build quality is nice and palms are holding up thus far...protection is top notch as well * if you can get this on Sale, sub $100.00 a good buy, but considering this is a premo type glove, it falls short in many areas. * Star system doesn't work....3 STARS

Jason - Canada - 8/9/2012

AWESOME!!!!!

Things I Liked:

i really like the d30 the great grip and great fit very cool.

Things to Improve:

maybe some venting but no big deal don't be worried though.

Full Review:

anonymous - anonymous - 2/5/2013

Okay

Things I Liked:

D30 desighn and the look

Things to Improve:

Bulky needs floating cuff and the glove flares weird.Ventalation and black is all out of stock

Full Review:

Well the gloves are okay but I'm attack/offensive middie they aren't very flexible and they can be a pain. Overall they are okay. Before I said they are awesome on my other customer rieview the one that said they are awesome in all capitals but now after a half a season they are okay i don't think the star rating works but only three stars.
