Great shaft for a great price

by From BOSTON, MA
Ever since i started playing lacrosse i wanted a maverik boost and i have now used the attack and defense variation and i can confidently say it is a great choice in both versions. the first thing noticed when you touch the shaft is the grip, which is incredibly nice. Your hands will not slip and you can still move your hands when needed. it will eventually wear down but it takes a while. The shaft is very light in general but it is really noticeable in the long pole variant. it is not the lightest shaft ever made but it has a good weight which allows you to feel when the ball in your stick while still being super light. the shaft is very durable and does not seem to pick up dents although i wish it could be a bit stronger in the long pole version. the short pole feels a bit more durable then the long pole and i believe this is because the short version is a bit thicker. the shaft is still pretty strong but the 60" variant is not the strongest on the market. The shaft is a great shaft and is especially great for the price. when the shaft was first introduced it was about 120-200 dollars which is a lot of money for a shaft. but time has passed and the shaft has moved to the clearance section and is extremely cheap. this is because maverik and other brands have released new and improved 200$+ shafts which push this shaft's price down. i would recommend this shaft and it was well worth the 60 dollars for the long pole and 40$ for the short.
Pros:
Practically everything.
- grip, weight, strength, price, shape.
Cons:
a slight bit of improvement on the strength would be nice

the pre drilled holes do not fit most stx heads which is pretty annoying

Awful but great customer service

Great so far!

by - verified purchaser From OHIO
Great overall stick
Pros:
I like the grip. I like how strong it feels The stick is pretty light It has a nice feel
Cons:
I liked everything about the stick besides the fact that the paint chips very easy. That's not a big deal to me because I'm not here to get a good looking stick even though this stick looks really nice with the grip tape. I was looking for a strong sturdy stick and this meets the qualifications!
