Great head. It is not as heavy as people say it is. I have this on my D-pole and might get one for my attack stick. Love it!

MUST for starters
Things I Liked:
Very durable. This is like a vacuum when it comes to ground balls if you have it strung right.
Things to Improve:
WEIGHT. This think comes in at a whopping 6.8 oz, the second heaviest stick out in the market. But weight is good for beginners because after a season or so and you get a new stick and a lighter head, it will be a lot easier to land poke checks because of how light your new head feels compared to this.

Good head, just the weight cost a couple goals because i couldn't swing the thing around in time.

Best beginner head out there. It helps for when you upgrade to a lighter stick, you will do alot better because you are used to a heavy stick, giving you faster shots. A MUST FOR BEGINNERS!

Bionic Head

This head is really stiff in the sidewalls, but has just enough flex in the scoop to be good for ground balls. That being said, it is really, really wide. It nearly follows the NCAA measurements through the throat (only failing the lowest one by a quarter to an eighth of an inch), and then is 7 inches at it's widest point in the scoop, rather than the 6.5 required. As such, I do not recommend it for anything except a Defender, SSDM, or LSM. It's not good for facing off, and it's not anything that you want for an attack head. There are not many stringing holes on the head, which makes stringing mesh in it rather difficult. You will have to try more than once to get the pocket you like in it. Don't trust factory stringing: every one of these heads I've seen factory strung is awful. I used it for a fall season as my main head, playing SSDM, but I didn't find that I liked it, and switched to the profile head and also switched to LSM. This is an NFHS only head, so don't expect to use it in college. Not that you'd want to. There simply are better heads out there, you might just have to pay a little more. Trust me, it's worth the money. If you are looking for a high school defensive head that's also good for transition, try the STX profile. I did, and it made a world of difference. The star system is broken, but I give it 3 stars, assuming that you use it for what it is designed for.
