Great Improvement

Things I Liked:

Lots of stringing holes-- great improvement. Great combo of stiffness & lightweight. Price is fair for a high quality head.

Things to Improve:

Much wider than the Rabil X. I had to pinch the head to get it less wide-- but still kept it X legal. The top stringing holes should be made larger. It was very tight stringing the triangle top string. The top holes would not accommodate traditional leathers.

Full Review:

I like this head very much, but would probably rate the Rabil X slightly higher because of its narrower face shape (and I don't like narrow heads!)

Very Good Update

Things I Liked:

Weight distribution, design, symrail, aesthetics, stiff.

Things to Improve:

Keep the pinch going up a little higher, more like the Clutch Elite X.

I've used almost every head in the Evo series and I would have to give this the best rating. It was a little difficult to get my desired pocket at first, but all in all it was worth the money.

Best head on the market. I play attack for my high school team and I'm loving this head. I've gone through many heads and this is by far my favorite head.

Update: Revised Review

Things I Liked:

Good combo of weight to stiffness. After stringing and using this head for awhile, I feel there are a few problems with this head. Read on.

Things to Improve:

Warrior took a step backwards with this head. The Evo 4X is not as good as the 3x in terms of face shape and design. Hinges that went wrong: 1) the thickness of the sidewalls is awkwardly thick. In order to implement the SymRail, they made the sidewalls thicker. It looks awkward and aerodynamics suffers. (Head speed slows as sidewalls thicken). 2) the bottom of the sidewalls where the stringing holes are flares to the outside. This makes stringing a narrower channel impossible. 3) Warrior could trim weight in the throat with more aggressive cutouts.

Full Review:

The good news is that Warrior learned from its mistakes-- it released the Burn X. The Burn X has a much better pinched face shape, more sculpted throat, faxed the problems with the sidewall stringing holes, AND lowered the price! Bottom line: buy the Burn X over the Evo 4X.
