This head is nice and stiff, and as such, it makes a great long pole or SSDM head. I do not recommend it for facing off, because you can't do a very good "pinch" move on it. This is also not really an attack head, since it's not pinched to minimum high school specs. I used it in high school as a head playing LSM, and then for a season of club ball as a short stick defender. It's not great for ground balls, because the scoop flexes little to not at all, but because of this, it is great for poke checks. The pinch was enough that I could hold onto the ball when I ran up the field in transition, and also shoot, but it was wide enough that I could pick off passes. The factory stringing is awful: you will have to, or at least want to, restring it or get it restrung. The aluminum shaft that it comes with is heavy compared to other shafts, and will dent really badly during play. I recommend upgrading to a 7075 or better alloy shaft (this one is a 6000 alloy) unless this is just for throwing around in the backyard with your friend or son. That being said, this head is really durable, and you should expect that it will last you for possibly your whole high school career. This is an NFHS only head. Do not expect to be able to use this in college, and that's where some of my deduction comes from. Overall, I give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
