Manufacturer Description

You're the guy who gets to the locker room before the rest of the team to write the words of wisdom on the chalkboard. The same guy who is early to practice and late to leave. The same guys whose teammates are eager to please and scared to let down. The same guy who opposing team scout as "dangerous" and "game changer". You'll bleed to get the win, you'll cry when you lose. Fans idolize you, the competition fears you, and your coach wishes he had 9 more of you on the field. Because when you are down by 1 with under a minute left and all you can hear is 50,000 screaming fans, you don't hide on the crease. You want the ball in your stick to make the play you've run over and over in your head. Your team naturally turns to you, your coach doesn't even need to say what to do. You already know, because you are Clutch.

Things I Liked:

Good offset.
Great stringing .
Perfect shots.
Perfact passes.

Things to Improve:

Make it stronger.

Full Review:

Good head for attack or middie, not so good for defense, its not all to strong.

Bosshog - MI, WA - 7/10/2009

Amazing Head

Things I Liked:

Pinch, stiffness, sidewall, and easy to string.

Things to Improve:

Not much. It brakes sometimes on the holes at the bottom.

Full Review:

This is hands down one of the best heads in the game. Just get it.

Mark - NJ - 7/10/2009

Wicked

Things I Liked:

The extra pinch easy to scoop good control and durale while flexable

Things to Improve:

the front is small so buy extra top strings they will be frayed

Full Review:

awesome stick i love it only other that can compare is stx proton power YOU HAVE TO BE A GOOD CATCHER not the best begginer stick because the pinch makes the ball harder to catch but if your good you will have no problem with that.

laxer - South Carolina - 7/10/2009

alright

Things I Liked:

i thought it was pretty good. its really week amd not the best for face offs. after one season it just gets pintched so know i'm thinking on getting the warrior spyne becaus eof the face offs i did made it ileagle.

Things to Improve:

-make it stronger
-make the lacing holes higher.

Full Review:

I personaly did not like this head.

andrew - nh - 7/10/2009

Awesome head!

Things I Liked:

Really nice pinch, flexy where you need it, strong where it's needed, very good head for all postions besides defence.

Things to Improve:

The two bottom holes break. I have owned quite a few and all of mine have broke at the bottom holes but it doesn't affect play at all.

Full Review:

Great head. If you are deciding on what head to get you can always count on this head. Another good head is a proton power and I think that these two heads are tied. Anyways this head gets a 9/10 not a 10/10 because its not as durable because of the the two bottom holes.

Gerald - Winchester, MA - 7/10/2009

Perfect Head

Things I Liked:

Durable and stiff
Good Offset
Thick sidewall, good for tricks
Tons of sidewall holes
Good scoop
Really pinched

Things to Improve:

The mesh was almost like soft mesh, Can't really be molded like hard mesh, has nothing to do with the head itself, go for unstrung
Pinch makes it hard to catch

Full Review:

Good all around head for all positions

Brian - NJ - 7/16/2009

Recomend

Things I Liked:

The pinch, sidewall holes, endless possibilties with pockets.

Things to Improve:

Duribilit on the base holes for mesh, mine cracked but no big deal.

Full Review:

I have had soft mesh, hard mesh and six dimond on this head and it throws amazing. Even with just one shooting string or ten its amazing. Recommend immediatly by now.

Clutch

Things I Liked:

Everything

Things to Improve:

Nothing. my ball stop sucked but none of my friends clutches had that problem.

Brine Clutch

Things I Liked:

Everything

Things to Improve:

Bottom Holes

Full Review:

So my clutch has been used for two years now it is factory dyed navy blue. It is still perfectly legal but now it is becoming weak and half a centimeter till it is illegally pinched. My bottom four holes on my clutch never broke and it is still good. I am currently considering buying the clutch or clutch 2

Chad - San Diego, California - 6/3/2010

Simply The Best

Things I Liked:

-Perfect pinch for ball retention, channels the ball nicely when passing/shooting.
-Large catching area at the top.
-Light
-Great scoop for GBs
-Lots of stringing holes
-It's a Brine, who do you think started this trend

Things to Improve:

Neon green color was a bit faded, but than again color doesn't score goal. Speaking of color I went with black Mesh and all neon shooters/sides to match head, black shaft, pretty awesome if want to add some flash to your game

Full Review:

Buy it!

Dan Love - NJ - 1/25/2011

Love this head.

Things I Liked:

Accuracy, stiffness, channel, pretty much everything.

Things to Improve:

Got weak after a season - started to torque and pinch after faceoffs. Cracked stringing holes after 3 years of play.

Full Review:

I have had this head for three years now and absolutely love it. It has a great hold and creates a great channel if you string it right. I used it as a faceoff middie and was able to come out with 80% or challenges wins my senior year. It did get a little weak, but that's after a couple years play. Highly recommended.

Branden Andersen - Eugene, OR - 4/12/2011

Amazing Head

Things I Liked:

Weight, sidewall holes, scope, pinch, durability, strength

Things to Improve:

warped over time with being an lsm and a fogo

Full Review:

amazing head. light and it has a great pinch. although the head warped, it pinched perfectly and all the sidewall hole really helped me out with stringing my own pocket. sadly, it snapped playing catch in 22* weather after a year of use, but overall great head

Hunter - Centennial, CO - 12/22/2011

PERFORMS BUT BREAKS

Things I Liked:

Things I Liked:

scoop ball control stringing holes catching throwing

Things to Improve:

im on my second one first one broke at the scoop second one hasnt broken yet but it seems like it might. i heard the stringing holes in the bottom break so you cant do the bottom string

Full Review:

i recommend this head to anybody looking for a good head. also if you think it is too wide in the pic on here, it gets pinched after you use it awhile

Jake - south florida - 5/8/2012

Good head

Things I Liked:

Durability, strength, custom stringing(extra holes)

Things to Improve:

Full Review:

This head is great for checking and for all you scrubs who say its good at throwing, your retarded, that is the stringing job not the head!

Clutch

Things I Liked:

Scoop, stringing holes, pinch, and stiffness

Things to Improve:

Durability. I've broken 3 already and the bottom string holes break easily. (clutch curse)

Full Review:

Good head, but get ready to buy many if you like it.

Degan - Pittsford, NY - 11/8/2012

Brine Clutch

Things I Liked:

Everything. The pinch is perfect, there are a ton of stringing holes, the offset is just right, great hold, great scooping

Things to Improve:

maybe the durability a little. I am on my second Clutch, my first one broke after 3 years of hard use. But it is probably one of the more durable heads out there while still being as light and effective as it is. other than that, nothing.

Full Review:

This is a perfect head for attack and middie. I usually play attack and this head has never failed me. It is very light and perfect for a totally custom string job.

Timmy - Buckeye, AZ - 11/11/2012

Clutch

Things I Liked:

Everything

Things to Improve:

Nothing

Full Review:

Easily the most versatile head stringing wise. Is great for any pocket placement and has a ton of stringing holes. Very nice pinch and flare which is perfect for attack and all around one of the best heads ever made.

Ben - Massachussetts - 9/5/2013

Great Lax head

Things I Liked:

Stiffer than the clutch X, but all other functions are identical.

Things to Improve:

The clutch curse- or s oive heard

Full Review:

I often play LSM and needed a stiffer head on my long stick, but really love the Clutch X, I broke 2 of them on my long stick last season. the reviews said the Clutch is stiffer, and it is. it delivers a punishing check without folding up. hope it dosent fail on the bottom 2 stringing hole like the clutch X has. So far its an excellent head for LSM

Clay Carpenter - Plano TX - 2/14/2014
