    The best CREASE Defense Head out...

    Well as this might seem obvious, but this head is the best defensive head you can possibly get right at this moment, but it does come at a price. Myself, as a current player, have loved this head since I have gotten it since it first came out, and up until a week ago played with it without any regrets. I didn''t figure out until I finally broke it in my first summer team practice last week that there are many things this head limits itself to. This head is only to be used as an aggressive crease defense head. It can''t be used for really any thing else even LSM, my actual position because of its weight. It is in ten percent of all lax heads for weight. It also stiffness and rigidity can only be pared with expensive and very stiff d-poles like the STX Hammer 500 series, Ice d-pole, Hammer SC, few type of the dragonfly shafts, and other titanium or titanium alloy shafts. Also Because of the stiffness it has great scoping, but if ever putting that head for a faceoff, your asking for a L and a cracked head due to the material not being able to consistantly be able to survive a bend.

    Best Defensive Specific head

    I bought this for my son after reading reviews on a bunch of different reviews. We are very pleased. He has made it through a summer and fall travel season plus 3/4 way through a spring rec season. It is his first defensive head on a long pole and he loves it. It scoops ground balls better than anything I have seen. It is stiff and dishes out punishment non-stop. I suspect we will make it through rest of spring and through summer too, before we look at a replacement.

    BEST DEFENSIVE HEAD

    I have played with the Maverik Tank for a full year now. It is by far the best defensive head on the market. This head is crazy stiff and will last you many seasons. This stick has gone through a beating and has come out in perfect condition. 5 out of 5 to Maverik...Great Head

    Mav Tank

    This is a good head, but to be honest, I was a little disappointed with it. It is stiff, however the face shape is so wide that it tends to flare out much quicker than some other heads, like my x10''s for example.
