My Son Made a Good Choice!

by From FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
My freshman HS son looked at a few different chest protectors before decided this was the one he wanted. The adjustable shoulder straps make it easy for him to lower or raise how far the pad hangs. It fits well and it is easy for him to move in goal with it on.
Pros:
Adjustable shoulder straps and the flexible mid-section which allowed easy movement in the goalie cage.
Cons:
More groin coverage. It wouldn't hurt to have the bottom contoured more.

Looks nice

by From SF, CA
I haven't seen this pad in person, but it looks really nice. My feedback to Maverick is this-- place the Poron XRD over the mid chest area where the heart is, not underneath the chin area.
Pros:
Looks flexible, nice protection. Clips versus velcro is the superior fastening system.
Cons:
Place the Poron XRD over the heart area, instead of the clavicle. Or sell an additional XRD piece that you can add to protect the heart area.

Also. the back strap looks a little bulky.
