If you need an offensive head that is designed for an expert level of play than I suggest you consider this head. The Maverik Optik lacrosse head is Made-in-America and was designed for precision and accuracy, without sacrificing power and strength. They have created this head with 17 stringing holes down each sidewall to provide unlimited stringing options and great ball control. If you need shot power than this head is perfect. It is very light while still being very stiff. Maverik nailed this one, don't miss out.

Optik Head

by From SAN FRANCISCO CA
Nice looking, yet simple head. This seems to work best with a low pocket. Once strung the mesh tended to pull towards the low-spot on the throat. This is probably best for an attackman as it feels much different than a Stallion or Lakota that is more high-pocket oriented.
Pros:
The fast service from Sportstop was great and the head arrived as expected.
Cons:
It looks rather simple and could use a few updated textures.

The finally did it!

by From MA
Maverik has tried and failed for years to make a top of the line head. This one is great. They got close with the Metrik last year, but this and the Tank should put them at the top of the market. Great head. One of the best out there right now.
Pros:
Light weight, easy to string, matte finish, shape of the head.
Cons:
Nothing

Best Offensive Head I've Ever Used

by - verified purchaser From GEORGIA
Without a doubt the best offensive head I've used. Super easy to string. Great accuracy. Starts out a little stiff but becomes flexible. I take a lot of faceoffs and I'm pretty hard on my heads. I've gone through 18 in the past 3 years. Pinches and flexes very well for faceoffs. I've only had this head for 3 weeks and it's already broken. Within the 3 weeks I have taken hundreds of faceoffs and reps. I would recommend this head to any offensive player, but if you take faceoffs and work your heads hard I would not recommend this head.
Pros:
string holes pinch of the head great accuracy doesn't warp too bad
Cons:
durability
