The worst Goalie gloves

by From MONTVALE, NEW JERSEY
I am a hard core lacrosse goalie. I bought these gloves because they said they we for the high end player. That was not the case, the gloves thumb stretched out and my thumb went passed the protective area and on a shot it snapped the tip of my thumb. I had to undergo an hour surgery and now i will miss the season opening. The warrior buzz kill were the best gloves.
Pros:
nothing
Cons:
The thumb protection

Comfortable, poor protection

by
I am a college coach and these just came in for my goalies a few weeks ago. The main thing you look for in a goalie glove is protection on the thumb. These have good prevention of flexing your thumb back, but no protection for a direct shot to the thumb as all of the padding is on the top of the thumb. Also, does not seem to have any real reinforcement on the tops of the fingers (which are exposed as opposed to the thumbs) or back of hand. Our goalies both injured their thumbs within one or two practices and have needed to reinforce the thumb significantly to provide any real protection from direct shots
Pros:
- lightweight
- good range of motion
- comfortability (before having to modify)
- they look great
Cons:
- protection, thumbs in particular

Best Gloves on the Market

by From SLC, UTAH
I've been trying to find a new pair of gloves for a while, and after researching almost every glove available and trying out many pairs, the M3's are where its at. Most comfortable gloves I have owned, but also the most protective pair. Much better gloves than the new RX3s.
Pros:
Fingers are really flexible
Great padding all around
Thumb protection is the best around
Nice air flow
Cons:
Nothing.

Very comfortable and protective

by From RED HOOK, NY
These gloves are very comfortable and very protective. I take some hard shots and have been using very old Superfreaks goalie gloves. I broke a few bones in my hand with them. These gloves are comfortable and the thumb protector doesn't even get in the way. The first day I had them I took a hard shot during practice on my fingers and didn't even feel it. Overall, they're great gloves.
Pros:
Protective
comfortable
light
breatheable
Cons:
Make the stitching a bit heftier, looks skimpy but holds together well
