Beginner players shouldn't get stuck with beginner equipment. How are they going to be inspired by that? They're not. That's why Bazooka is based on Maverik's elite performance heads, and has the same awesome MO-CONTROL design as their elite equipment and stiff sidewalls for better ball control and easier catching.

Maverik Bazooka

For the money, it's one of the best sticks on the market.
Pros:
Great stick!! Great pocket right out of the box. Tighter pinch than most beginner sticks, so ball control is excellent (head has almost the same dimensions as the Maverik Juice). Lots of drilled holes for multiple stringing options. Head is more stiff than most beginner/intermediate heads, so it has a very solid feel.
Cons:
Offer soft and hard mesh options.

Pretty good

by - verified purchaser From SYRACUSE, NY
Overall: I love the head. The shaft wasnt great, so i put on the stx zirconium. It feels stronger and better once you pick it up.
Pros:
The dura-mesh was good, since its pretty easy to make a pocket, but it stays in the position you left it. The head is just a little wider than the juice, and it feels the same (which is good.)
Cons:
The shaft looks cool, but it should be made out of a better metal. It feels like if you get checked, the shaft will dent in.

actually an okeay buy

Pros:
CHEAP decently good allloy for a 6000 series maverik did a wonderful job on the grapics, seems as though they clear coated it. leaving the graphic resistant to chipping. their slogan is "for the player by the player" and it seems to be true. for the head, although it is the basic starter model for this company, equivlaent to the warrior outlaw/punisher and the stx amp/6000, it does have a decent head compared to the warrior/stx counterparts. the plastic isnt cheap, more pinch than expected and design seems to be appealing to the upcoming player generation.
Cons:
seems to be a little shorter, maybe an inch or 2 than other short sticks. i dont know why but i always hav an issue with factory mesh -_- and this one isnt the best of it. its starting to be a custom for players to rip out the factory mesh and replace with a new esh kit the instant they buy the head. im preety sure it wouldnt cost companies much to put regular standard mesh in and hire a decent stringer, i mean there are alot out there.

Well worth the price for a first or second year player. Lightwieght shaft and nice head which gets better when broken in.
Pros:
Great beginner stick for my 9 year old. Super light shaft compared to other sticks. After breaking in the net/pocket, stick is great.
Cons:
nada
