Pure speed. The Apollo is the lightest shaft in the Maverik family delivering maximum shot velocity.

  • Shape: Speed Shape
  • Material: Scandium-Titanium Alloy
  • Grip: Bead Blasted Finish

Dynamic Wall Taper:

A new extrusion process tapers the wall thickness of the shaft. This process puts added material in areas of the shaft that see the most abuse and cuts weight in areas that can afford it.

Adjustable Butt End:

A new revolutionary butt end. Adjust along the handle to the player's preference, tighten down and tape for a locked-in sure fit design. This is a game changer.

Maverik Apollo shaft

by From PEACHTREE CITY, GA
For the money it dents way to easy. I have had two recently and both dented within two games of play. I bought the 2nd one thinking maybe it was just a rare occurrence on how the defender hit it on follow through, but same thing happened with the 2nd one. Was not happy. will not buy this one again
Pros:
Feel and lightness, Those things are great. the adjustable butt-end is a nice add as well. better than tape method.
Cons:
Strength. Should not dent that easy, especially if it is supposed to be a high level stick, it must handle high level defenseman checks. Maybe this is better for U13 and below, but for that money U13 players probably don't need to spend that much.

It Would Be Amazing, If Only It Was Stronger

by From DENVER, COLORADO
I bought this stick when they first came out and out of the box it looked great and felt great but in the first couple games it had a couple dents. They weren't big dents but I worry sooner than later there will some.
Pros:
Lightness
ABE
Feel
Cons:
It needs to be tougher
