Cascade Pro7 CUSTOM Lacrosse Helmet

Things I Liked:

We order all of our team helmets from sportstop.com. Our order arrives in about a week with no concerns at all straight from Cascade. We switched from the CPX to the Pro7 when they first came available because of the reduced chance of concussions and we couldn't be happier. It's a very good looking helmet that fits as well as it performs.

Things to Improve:

I would suggest to Cascade to would offer a Titanium mask for the Pro7 as they do with the CPX.

Things I Liked:

The ability to customize to our school colors, a really good fit, the idea of increased safety from concussion, and the ability to have it delivered rather quickly. Also, My son really liked the way the goalie throat guard was attached. This allows him to use this helmet when he playes other positions as well.

Things to Improve:

Nothing at this point. Iam hoping that this one lasts longer than the last one we ordered. (it was a different model, two years old, and I am sure happy that the helmet broke and not my son's face)

I like the customization that this product allows for. I also liked the vission lines, how light the helmet is, and the gold and chrome mask options.

Things to Improve:

Many people would say the visor decals, but these are better because it allows you to have a solid white helmet and make it look custom. This allows you to be able to use the same helmet no matter what. However the price could be lower.

Things I Liked:

Great field of vision, it kind of reminds me of my Reebok8 box lacrosse helmet which has the best visibility of any helmet. Feels lighter than my six year old Cascade CPX size L/XL which caused headaches right on my dome! I was afraid that it would not fit my XL-ish melon.... but when I cranked the slide adjusters all of the way "open" I was able to lock it down and it fit snug. No more headaches! Comes with a spare foam kit and strap is included unlike other online stores.

Things to Improve:

It still is snug when I pull the helmet off of my head as it likes to pull at my ears but I guess that means that it will stay in its place when I am playing. I am a faceoff guy so this is a good trade off. Just saying that people with XL melons have a hard time dealing with the "one-size-fits-all" choice for headgear.

There's a reason all the pro teams and most college teams use this helmet. It is straight up the best helmet out there. Ignore all the debate about Pro 7 or CPX-r this helmet is a tank, while being crazy comfy. Get the gold tungsten steel facemask too it looks absolutely pimpin'. I will have this helmet for at least 4 years. Nothing even comes close

Things I Liked:

The Pro 7 is a nice helemt in every way; however, it is NOT one size fits all adult. It was excessivly large for my 5' 9" son. We returned the helmet to Cascade for a CPX-R which fit him great. In summary, unless you have a least a medium size, I suggest that you go with the CPX-R which will fit a small to large head (XL Head, go with the Pro7).

Things to Improve:

Change sizing recommendations from "one sizefits all" to "medium to extra-large adult heads."

If you have a small to medium size adult head, buy the CPX-R. If you have a large to XL head, buy the Pro7.

Hardest helmet to get fitted, is not one size fits all and one of the horizontal facemask bars was always blocking my vision no matter how i adjusted it. It sucked.

I like the adjustable fit, very snug, clear view through the face mask and no twisting due to the custom cheek pads. I am not so sure one size fits everyone but this helmet is a great fit for me.

Things to Improve:

How about some graphics and custom lettering. Cascade could partner with someone and develope some really sick graphics and lettering that are custom fit to the helmet.

I along with others found the custom tape can lift and found an easy solution for a couple of dollars. I purchased some brush on plastic/ vinyl glue. Easy solution quick fix no problem.
