Solid protection; low profile; great looks (clear only black is ugly); no annoying flapping or noise

much better then the tie-on one. very easy to move in and has lots of protection. If you are thinking about buying the tie-on one, don't.

hard to screw into cascade helmets, but worth it

It offers great protection for your neck, but it takes a bit to get it hooked up to your helmet. You will need a drill, a 7/32 drill bit, a ruler, a Philip head screw driver, and a marker to install it. Also it best if you have a cascade helmet.
