Great little item

by From TAMPA, FL
Great item. Once installed really secures the end.. The rubber ones tend to slide around and need constant adjustment. This one is is a perminant option which is great.
Pros:
Easy install
Cons:
Other than maybe make it reusable no issues

Gait End Cap

by From GALLATIN, TN
This cap is worth the money. It makes your stick lighter compared to using tape and gives your hand a good stopping point at the end of your shaft.
Pros:
Its a permanent butt end and it makes your stick lighter.
Cons:
Make a way to transfer it onto other sticks

Exactly what we were looking for

by From TUCKER, GA
My son has been playing for a few seasons now, and has been using Maverik dpoles with that grit grip. He likes that surface better than tape. What was driving him crazy was the butt end coming off during play. I replaced the stock Maverik butts on his Range dstick and his Wonderboy that he uses on attack with some standard STX butts, but still he was pulling them off. I found this Gait Cork butt and could only find the colors we wanted at Sportstop. I bought 2, replaced both ends on his sticks and he LOVES them. The fit is tight and smooth, and provides a very strong grabbing spot at the end that won't come off during play. i know that if he changes poles, I'll need a very long piece of rebar or a drill to remove or replace them, but it's totally worth it for the added benefits to his game.
Pros:
Smooth clean tight fit
easy to install
multiple colors FROM SPORTSTOP
firm spot to grip and not have your hand or cap slide off
no need to keep replacing tape
easy to clean versus tape (we can talk about the peanut butter and jelly incident at a later date)
Cons:
My only suggestion would be instead of hammering or pushing in the plug to engage the inner grips, why not have it screw in. but the absence of this would not stop me from purchasing this item again

Gait Cork End Cap

by From ACWORTH, GA
These end caps are fantastic! I don't like the rubber end caps as they rub my hands and I have to re-tape all the time. These end caps are solid and easy to use and much easier on the hands.
Pros:
They feel good against my hands and don't rub like rubber caps.
Cons:
I would like it if they were more comparable in cost to rubber end caps.
