Well when I tried it on at championship weekend, it seemed alot like the pro 7. It has the same "7" protection, and the size adjustment is much easier to use than the pro 7. It is more streamlined and it had great sightlines

This helmet is the most form fitting helmet I have ever worn!
Fits tight to my noggin.
easy adjustability with the SPR+ strap in the back.
The helmet overall just looks sick.
Things to Improve:
I play goalie and i took a head shot from an ex pro and the ratchet strap in the back came loose.
This has only happened one time on a really hard shot andI didnt even feel the shot through the helmet!
I would rather the ratchet come loose than my head get rattled. GREAT PROTECTION!

This helmet will protect your head better than any other because:
SPR+ fit system in the back of the helmet makes it fit snugly to your head.
This helps prevent concussions since there is no room for your head to bounce around within the helmet.
The SPR+ system also allows players of all ages to use it even while they are growing.
Comfortable.
Seven Liner helps deflect energy from nasty shots away from my head.
Classic CPX look with a cool spoiler on the back.
Cheaper than the Pro 7 (depending on retailer)
A must buy.

To the last review...stating that this is the best helmet ever obviously shows how you are def not a true lax player. I highly doubt that you took a shot from an "ex-pro" and nothing happened. As a former college player, I know what it is like to get hit by pros. Are you sure that you do? For anyone who plays high level lax like I do, go with the Pro 7 and dont listen to people who's competition is probably high school players.

for the supposed pro if you go back throughout the history of the mll the first cpx was used in the game before the pro 7 and this helmet has 7 technology so this helmet could possibly be used in the pros you go back to your d3 school and talk crap its a great helmet you biased because you own a pro 7 the look of this helmet is actually nicer than that of the pro 7

Fits the largest cabezas out there. I used to get red marks on my forehead from my CPX Titanium, and a Pro7 wouldn't even fit on my head. The CPX-R actually fits. I was shocked. Also, it's very light... thought I might notice an increase in weight going from my CPX Titanium to this.... but the liner saves a weight.
Things to Improve:
Padding it too tight in the ears. I cut part of the padding out because it was pinning my ears closed so I couldn't hear.

I agree, this is a great helmet. Offers everything a CPX does as well as the Pro7. I like it better than the Pro7 because it doesn't have the cheap visor decal that always peals off. Just me 2 cents... others may disagree.

Great helmet. Had a clh2 for years, just got cpxr, great upgrade. I've tried on pro7, and it's okay, but it's not great. Cpxr looks sick and works great. Only complaint is that the ear foam padding is so thick that it kind of hurts to take off the helmet...also the adjustable part seems really flimsy... great looks, great helmet
