Best Head Ever

by From RICHFIELD, OHIO
Everybody has their favorite head and this one is mine. I play defense but like more of a narrow head so I can carry the ball much better than with the bigger D heads. I have broke these but not any quicker than some of the other ones Ive tried that are supposed to be rated better.
Pros:
Just an all around great head that works for me and looks good too.
Cons:
I have broken 4 of them in the past 3 years playing D. I guess if the side walls could be stiffend up more for harder slaps and pokes that would be great. Other than that NO!

Not bad for newer players

by From STANWOOD, WA
Decent head for a low price. A little lacking on stringing options and I see what other reviews were talking about with the sidewalls not being flush. Overall I'd say I got way more than my money's worth for this head since it was on a great sale.
Pros:
Color combos
Light weight
Pretty easy to string
Cons:
Sidewall overhang
More stringing options

Encore X

by From WISCONSIN
Overall, the Brine Encore X is an excellent head. I used the all white version of it for a whole high school season playing LSM and it has not warped or cracked in any way. It is very easy to string with a mid pocket. When temperatures get over 90 degrees it begins to flex a bit too much, but for about 95% of the time I use it this is not an issue. I just ordered two more for use in college. Pairs with a STX Scandium Pro to make an awesome LSM setup.
Pros:
Face Shape
String-ability
Stiffness
Durability
Weight
Cons:
Possibly more stringing holes but this is not an issue for me

Brine Encore X Superlight

by From CHARLESTON, WV
Firstly, I know this head is marketed toward defense, but I play attack and bought it for the very reasonable price and honestly, this is among my favorite and most functional heads. There aren't as many string holes as I would like but it still has enough to string a great pocket. With it being a two shot mold, I wouldn't recommend it for faceoffs. All in all though, this head is in my top 3 favorite heads of all time easily
Pros:
The head is very solid and keeps a great mid low pocket

Good head for the money

by From MACON, GA
I purchased 3 of these heads and strung all three. They were easy to string with a good mid pocket and throw and catch well. They are pretty stiff so they may not be ideal for someone who is playing attack exclusively.
Pros:
Ease of stringing
The face design
Solid connection to a variety of shafts
Cons:
It is a little heavy
The white inserts have a small lip at the top in the throat of the stick that seems out of place

by - verified purchaser From PITTSBURGH
it was supposedly made for d and lsm, after a few pokes it may warp. Its better for a middy who plays aggressively and doesn't take face offs. Fine for attack and d just I think it is a middy head
Pros:
cool colors, easy to string, easy scoop, and the longer throat is makes it a snap to put on shafts
Cons:
Looses stiffness... Warps if you take a face-off
