Things I Liked:

great pokes from this, stiff and light weight

Things to Improve:

not much pinch but its fine

Full Review:

great head youll love the checks

defense - ohio - 4/18/2010

Okay D Head

Things I Liked:

Light
Easy to catch with
Decent scoop
Doesn't rattle when on other shafts

Things to Improve:

Make it fit other shafts, because it only fits 1 of mine out of 5 that I tried. I have a swizzbeat and this doesn't fit on it (they are both Brine products so they should fit,)
Less stringing holes. I was kind of confused
Too wide for running up the feild
Make a scoop guard

Full Review:

I like this head but it's too wide for me. It's not the head, it's me. The scoop is decent but there is no scoop guard. I thought there were too many stringing options but a lot of people like that. I thought there were too many. Again, it's me not the head.

Jack - Medford Lakes, NJ - 5/12/2010

amazing

Things I Liked:

everything it is a great long pole head great for catching passes, along with scooping ground balls. it is a nice strong head that is light.

Things to Improve:

maybe a little less wide

Full Review:

amzing scored some goals with it but mainly is great for defense

enrique sanchez - arizona - 6/27/2010

Great head

Things I Liked:

Stiff
Ball control
Durable

Things to Improve:

Nothing great head

Full Review:

PEOPLE WHO TELL WHO THAT ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN UP THE FIELD WITH THIS HEAD A WRONG THEY JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO STRING A HEAD RIGHT. STRING IT RIGHT AND IT HAS GREAT.

L - g town - 7/19/2010

awesome

Things I Liked:

fits all 12 shafts I have
very strong
catches and throws great

Things to Improve:

needs more pinch

Full Review:

I left mine in the sun to soften it then pinched it it's sooooo much better

tim - florida - 8/3/2010

edge

Things I Liked:

Stiff (for 3 months)
wide for good catching on a pole
scoop

Things to Improve:

hard to get on my shaft but that's not a big deal

got really really flexible after about 2 and a half months

if you run it up its very wide so its hold is a little low

Full Review:

overall a nice D head for a little while than it will flex easily

not so great for attack or mid but you could use it if you want

Look at the guy below me

Things I Liked:

Amazing head The stiffest head on the market period!

Things to Improve:

Nothing

Full Review:

Best defensive on the market there is no arguing that. Super stiff. People who say this head is to wide to run up the field with are wrong you see lsms in college and mll using this head and you see close defensemen running the ball up the feild with this head. The Kid below me who said that this head is stiff for 3 months does not know anything about lacrosse. A head being used everyday and staying stiff for 3 month(which is a whole lacrosse season) IS AMAZING no other head on the market can stay as stiff as the edge is for 3 months.

Edge Overview

Things I Liked:

stiffness, easy to string, realiable and durable

Things to Improve:

nothing really

Full Review:

I play close, but i also do faceoffs. the head has kept its shape for over an entire season and starting a new one so im very impressed.

John - Maryland - 3/27/2011

Best head I had

Things I Liked:

Stiff Great ball handle Wide head, good for scooping Awsome poke checks Long lasting time

Things to Improve:

Only thing that could make this head better is if they put titanium bars in the side walls, then this head would be indestructable.

Full Review:

Lots of people say it loses stiffness after 2 months, that's intirely untrue. I was able to play 2 fall ball seasons, 2 winter ball seasons, and 1 spring season perfectly fine without problems until this season when I found cracks that were minor but expected. This really proves that it will last longer than 2 months.

Ball Down! Release!

Things I Liked:

wide scoop, wide and flared sidewalls give you great control, stiff and durable to throw poke checks

Things to Improve:

nothing

Full Review:

stiff enough and wide enough to play close d all year, versatile enough to also carry the ball to create offense

Brine Edge X

Things I Liked:

Stiff head. great for ground ballsetc. I go in hard playing D and this head holds up the best. Had a Brine Clutch 2 and it cracked after two games. I returned it and got another Edge as a backup head.

Things to Improve:

Can lose shape. Left one in the trunk of car with by kit bag on top of it one hot summer day, and the head totally warped. As other commented - put titanium rods in and it would be indestructable.

Full Review:

None

poke slap lift!

Things I Liked:

Great power when clearing. Gives a mean check! Great for catching.

Things to Improve:

maybe a little easier to pinch so you can personalize it more.

Great head

Things I Liked:

Solid construction, great stiff head for sick poke checks

Things to Improve:

Nothing

Full Review:

Good stiff head for playing defense. At the college level everythings pretty physical. This has been the only head I've ever had that can last any amount of time.

Sam - Hanover, IN - 2/1/2013

Great head

Things I Liked:

Stiff Doesn't warp Wide Lasts for a long time

Things to Improve:

A little heavy

Full Review:

I play close d this is a such a great head for d in my opinion because it is very stiff, but it's a little heavy.

Biggy - Charlotte, NC - 3/31/2013

kid cudi - 'murica - 4/28/2013

Great all around Head

Things I Liked:

good stiff head. Good for LSM or defense. It's not as wide as a STX Hammer. I also feel it has one of the best scoops for ground balls. It's just a great all around classic lacrosse head.

Things to Improve:

Nothing.

Full Review:

awesome price for such good lacrosse head. I'm going to buy a couple more before Brine discontinues them
